Cool minimalism at Klein

Calvin Klein's Francisco Costa worked with a nearly blank canvas this season, as models loped by in white lab coats, trousers and sheaths. The coolly austere collection, held, appropriately, in a white loft space west of the tents, was largely unadorned and unembellished, a return, it looked, to '90s minimalism. Only the subtlest of prints -- windowpane, for instance -- popped up, and when the color spectrum shifted, the results were similarly wispy: dove gray and champagne, with occasional pops of aqua and lawn green.Fashion-forward stars took it in: Kate Bosworth, Julianne Moore, Rosario Dawson.
